Oh my goodness it's Christmas.  I swear it seems like just yesterday I was shoving loads of baked goods down my jingle bell loving face.  Now I know there is at least one person on this planet that loves to hear about THIS day with the Koffords.

This is the day that we scope out cutting down a fresh tree.  We then realize Kofford's SERIOUSLY aren't meant for camping.  Momma Koff doesn't handle muddy shoes so well and Jord may make a saw look good in photos, but don't go asking her what the saw is for.

This is the day that six adults and one child pile into a 2003 Ford Expedition to later be greeted by Santa Clause.  Then those same six adults and one child have some major ADD kick in while Santa is talking to them for three whole minutes... THREE WHOLE MINUTES.  After about one minute of Santa explaining the different kinds of Christmas Trees, I began to see Quinnybird and Jord's eyes shifting towards the sky where a flock of birds was so ever distractingly flying by.

This is the day that we eat dessert after breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner.

This is the day that we realize Pappa Koff may be anti social at times but the little boy that was obsessed with Christmas as a child still exists.  That man has got some serious Christmas cheer!

This is the day that we buy a five pound box of Chocolates and then some (did I stutter?).

This is the day that I remind my family over and over that one day I will die and they WON'T have any photos to use at my funeral (I luckily made it into three this year).

This is the day that Jordan hogs the camera... oh wait that's everyday.

This is the day that we argue with my mom about moving the couches for the Christmas tree, even if she does hate it.

This is the day.... that.... oh my gosh I'm getting tired.  If you are still reading I applaud you!

Anywho... last but not least... this is the day that I realize why I always got a C in English.

Put all of this stuff together and you have... The day after Thanksgiving!!  Soo...here you go in photos!

Pipers first Christmas!

By the way... I am fully and completely aware that the grammar in this post is horrendous.... to be honest I didn't even know what to do with all of those words I was SHLOPPING on the page!  I know of someone who is cringing right now.  I would not be offended if someone sent me a revision haha!  I am just so tired it's ridiculous.  Oh the things I do for you 35 that follow me.

Another by the way..... I just did a small revision this morning since I am awake and fed... I still always get C's in English.... but it's better right?

Hi!  My name is Elle.

Now I know you are thinking I am going to ride through life on my incredibly good looks and darling name but let me assure you that this is not the truth...

I may have an enchanting smile and big brown eyes that make you want to stare at me for days but...

I also have a personality that could bring a smile like mine to the most unfortunate mans face and....

I am wondering what you think of me now...?

Is this little the most gorgeous child you have ever laid eyes on or what?  But seriously?  She couldn't be any cuter in any way shape or form!  I just love this one!  As for me and my unfortunately tiny eyes.... my heart is thumping against my chest (my family calls that defect Franklin) I'm all hopped up on medicine for my headache earlier and I seriously need to get to bed to see this little one bright and early in the morn!  G'night!

the best people

Here is to my fifth favorite day of the year.  Pie night brings me more joy than a solo night in my bed drawing cartoons (see instagrams).  I spent the last two hours of my life laughing my love handles off.  "Who needs working out when you can eat pie and laugh?" said Jooooord about tonights crazy shenanigans.  Not sure if it was the company or the fact that I'm sweating sugar (sweating from laughter) but I was as some folk like to say "off my rocker" tonight!  If recalling memories of sailing across the seven seas of a blue futon in a giant tupperware container dressed as John Smith and Pocahontas doesn't get you knee slappin' I don't know what would.  My childhood was spent with these people and I wouldn't change it for the world.... with the exception of a few extremely ugly photos on their photobooth.  I hope everyone has a Blake family in their life.  This here is what life is all about!

Now if you excuse me I think I still have a bit more room in my big toe for some pie.  Good think I have two.... two toes... (Humphrey and LaLoyld as my family calls them).  Embarrassing?  Only if you're somebody else....

obsessed.

I guess you can say... my blog has officially turned into "the nanny diaries".  Yes I have an extremely large amount of adventures and photos from living in LA... yack yack yack... but does THAT really matter when you have......

HER!

This is Elle.  She is the most darling thing you have ever met!  It is ridiculous how quickly this little one made it into my heart.  I cannot get enough of her!  But seriously, The days I'm not with her... I wish I was... and when I'm with her, I am so extremely happy I could die.  But seriously.... If I died when I was with Elle, I would legitimately die happy.  She calls me "Whit-mee".  She says "yocked" and "no yike it".  She calls her puppy "Stewwa" (Stella).  She is so polite and always says "no tink-you".  She is obsessed with Mickey Mouse and can literally spot him on anything.... but the cutest thing of all.... the fact that she gives the cutest kisses to things that she loves.  Today she kissed the letter "C" because I told her "C" was for Cole (her big brother).  She is literally sweet as candy and only is grumpy when you ask her to be (grumpy baby pictured above).  It's like I was born to do this ;)!

Elle, I already love and adore you!

P.S. I feel like I have now joined the ranks of Mormon mommy blogs.  Now I can be one amongst the many mommy bloggers who glamorizes everyday tasks in well photoshopped photos.....!  Nothing ever appears boring or ordinary when you are looking through the lens of an extremely expensive camera.  Moms out there, (I probably have like 3 looking at this) don't feel bad about yourself when you look at blogs!  Now I am going to go hang out with my darling husband.  We are going to go put on our chunky glasses, drink some herbal tea, neatly tidy up our childrens "freshly picked" moccasins, and snuggle into our shabby chic bedroom.... wait a second.... HUSBAND..... doesn't actually wear chunky glasses.... that's me!

P.P.S. I actually really LOVE all of those mommy blogs... and the style that they all have!
